Not so lucky after all.
Flight into Calgary took too long and missed the Toronto connection. And since it was “due to weather”, I had to stretch out on some airport couches overnight (because they didn’t give a hotel voucher).
The total flight distance ended up being 2,693 km (1,673 miles).
As an added bonus, YYC had construction going on which meant the power would go out intermittently throughout the night which was “fun”.
Luckily they had a 6am flight that I was able to get on instead. I got to the gates early enough that they hadn’t even opened up security yet.
